Brief Description
From 2019 to 2023, Mexico expanded the national shelter network for women victims of gender-based violence, increasing the number of shelters from 42 to 72 and external support centers from 30 to 39. Over 2.5 billion pesos were invested in this program, serving more than 17,000 women.
